How ProofLog™ handles app data and privacy.
ProofLog is a field photo report app designed to help users capture photos, notes, time, location, Voice Notes, and export PDF reports.
Information We Collect
ProofLog does not require an account. The app does not collect your name, email address, or login information.
The app may store the following information locally on your device as part of user-created records:
- Photos captured or imported by you
- Notes you add to photo records
- Time and date of photo records
- Location information, if you grant location permission
- Voice Notes recorded by you
- Company branding information you choose to enter
Camera and Photos
ProofLog uses your camera and photo library only when you choose to capture or import photos. Imported photos are used to create your local photo records and PDF reports.
Location
If you allow location access, ProofLog may attach location information to photo records. Location is controlled by device permissions. You can adjust or remove location information inside the app.
Microphone and Voice Notes
ProofLog uses microphone access only when you choose to record Voice Notes. Voice Notes are stored locally as part of your app records.
Local Storage
ProofLog is local-device based. Your records, photo files, and Voice Notes are stored on your device unless you choose to export or share them.
PDF Export
When you export a PDF report, the report may include selected photos, timestamps, notes, location information, and company branding details if you have entered them.
In-App Purchase
ProofLog offers a non-consumable in-app purchase called ProofLog Full Version. Purchases are processed by Apple. ProofLog does not receive or store your payment card information.
Third-Party Analytics and Advertising
ProofLog does not use third-party advertising or third-party analytics in the current version.
Data Sharing
ProofLog does not sell your data. ProofLog does not share your records, photos, notes, Voice Notes, or location information with third parties.
Your Control
You can delete records inside the app. You can also remove location information from individual photo records.
