ProofLog is a local-first field documentation app for iPhone and iPad. It helps users create field records and professional PDF reports using photos, notes, time information, optional location information, and voice or audio through Field Capture.
Local Product Data
ProofLog does not require a ProofLog account or a ProofLog cloud workspace. User-created field records are processed and stored locally by the app. ProofLog does not collect those field records through a ProofLog backend. This is consistent with ProofLog's current App Store privacy disclosure of Data Not Collected.
The app may process and store the following information locally as part of features you choose to use:
- Photos captured or imported by you
- Notes and other field-record details you enter
- Time and date information associated with records
- Location information, when you use a relevant feature and allow location access
- Voice or audio recorded through Field Capture
- Build Progress records and related photos
- Company name, logo, and contact details you choose to use for report presentation
Device Permissions
ProofLog may request access to device features when a relevant feature requires them:
- Camera: when you choose to capture a photo
- Photo Library: when you choose to import or otherwise use photo-library functionality
- Microphone: when you choose to record voice or audio through Field Capture
- Location: when you use a feature that adds location information and allow location access
Not every permission is required for basic app operation. Device settings control permission access, and available in-app controls may let you adjust or remove location information from individual records.
Reports, Export, and Portable Backup
You may select field records and a report language before creating a PDF report. An exported report may include selected photos, notes, time information, location information, and company identity or report-branding details you have entered.
You may also create and restore portable backups of local ProofLog records. When you choose to export, share, save, transfer, back up, or restore content, that content may leave the device or be made available to the source, destination, or service you select. ProofLog does not control how a source or destination you choose handles that content.
ProofLog Pro Purchases
ProofLog includes Free access and offers ProofLog Pro as a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase. No ProofLog subscription is currently required. Purchases are handled through Apple's App Store and StoreKit. ProofLog does not receive or store your full payment-card information.
Website and ProofLog Tools
The current ProofLog website does not intentionally include user accounts, analytics, advertising, marketing tracking, newsletter signup, or backend storage for field data.
Current ProofLog web Tools, including Printable Field Labels, process tool input locally in the browser. Printable Field Labels does not upload label text to a ProofLog backend, create an account, or persist label projects to a ProofLog backend. It uses the browser's native Print / Save as PDF system. These statements describe tool-input processing and do not make claims about hosting-provider access logs.
Analytics and Advertising
The current ProofLog app and website do not intentionally include third-party advertising or third-party analytics.
Data Sharing and Your Choices
Omniatics LLC does not sell user-created ProofLog field records or Printable Field Labels content. ProofLog does not send those records or label text to a ProofLog backend. You decide when to export, share, save, transfer, or back up content and which destination to use.
You can delete records inside the app, manage applicable device permissions, and use available controls to adjust or remove location information from individual records.
